We're changing things up and making those temps go up in Chicago starting with are overnight lows Thursday night, 6-12 with a breezy W/SW wind.  Friday cloud cover returns and a slight chance of a few flurries or light snow showers, High 18-26 with a W/SW wind.  "weather on the 1's!"

The grip of cold air continues to take hold of Chicago, Wind Chill ADVISORY Tuesday night into Wednesday morning...clear skies tonight with a west wind it will "feel like" 20 to 25 below zero as lows are around 0 to -8.  Wednesday bright sunshine & crisp, High 10 with a WC value of -10 to -15.  "weather on the 1s!"

The adrenaline rush of Blizzard 2011 is over, I'm crashing...along with the overnight lows, single digits with wind chill values around 10 below and southwest wind.  Friday sunny skies and a little warmer but breezy winds will keep a wind chill value around, High 17-23 with a SW 10-15 gusts 20.  "weather on the 1's!"

Blizzard 2011 is picking up pace, snow has already started in the Chicago area and into northwest Indiana.  Tuesday night snow moderate to heavy at times, snowfall rates from 2-3 inches per hour, blowing & drifting snow with the possibility of thundersnow Low 18-22 with a powerful northeast wind and gusts up to 55 mph.  Wednesday snow will continue throughout the morning, winds will continue to be strong out of the northeast and gusts still up around 55 mph High 23 with several more inches of snow to come.
