A powerful arctic front is sweeping through Chicago at this hour, resulting in a rapid return of sub-freezing temperatures. Moisture from today's wintry mix may re-freeze on area sidewalks and roadways after 7PM.
In addition, snow showers and snow flurries will re-develop between 8PM and 10PM. Only minor accumulation is expected, but there may be just enough snow to create scattered slick spots overnight.
