Light snow continues across the Chicago area

Winter Storm warnings continue in effect for Lake and McHenry counties until 6am Wednesday

Winter Weather advisories continue in effect for Cook and DuPage counties until 6am Wednesday

All other Winter Weather advisories have been canceled

Shortly before 9pm light snow was falling across most orf the Chicago area with visibilities in the 1 to 3 mile range. Latest radar trends show ove snow will be moving into the area and snow bands pivot countrclockwise around the storm center's circulation currently moving through central Indiana.

An additional inch or two of snow is likely to fall overnight especially in areas north and west of Chicago. The final chapter on today's late-winter snowstorm is yet to be written, but through 9pm snowfall totals range from around 10 inches along the Wisconsin state line to 1 to 3 inches across the far southern and indiana portions of the Metro area.

Downers Grove 4.6 inches

Northbrook 6.1 inches

Oak Park 4.0 inches

Beach Park 9.5 inches

Lake Bluff 6.5 inches

DeKalb 4.9 inches

Woodstock 6.8 inches

West Bend, WI 5.0 inches
