Two cold fronts will sweep through the Chicago area rather uneventfully on this Valentine's Day 2013.   In the wake of these fronts, cold arctic air will stir up the Lake Michigan snow machine for portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan on Friday and Saturday.

A Lake Effect Snow Watch has been issued for the Michiana snow belt from Friday afternoon through Saturday evening for up to eight inches of snow.

Counties under the Watch are La Porte, St. Joseph, Berrien and Cass.  A few of the cities and towns included are Michigan City, South Bend, New Buffalo, Benton Harbor and Niles.
