Fast-moving snow blitz moving though the north portions of the Chicago area

A brief, but intense band of snow moving south from Wisconsin has reached the north portions of
the Chicago area. The snow becomes moderate to heavy for a short period of time dropping the
visibility to 1/2 mile or less as it deposits a quick 1 to 2 inches of snow. The snow will be
moving through the heart of the city and the Chicago Metro area between 1 and 3 pm reaching
the south suburbs and northwest Indiana by about 4pm.
