Snow has been falling across the Chicago Metro area since late evening and is accumulating. With temperatures in the teens all surfaces have quickly become snow covered. Untreated road surfaces are snow covered. The snow is expected to continue through the night with 1 to 3 and locally 4 inches of accumulation expected.
