The Milwaukee National Weather Service Office has issued a Flood Warning for the Fox River at New Munster in Kenosha County, Wisconsin - extending south along the Fox River into Lake County, Illinois. The Fox River at New Munster was three feet below flood level this morning, but projected rainfall between 1 and 1.25-inches in the next 24 hours would bring the river just over the 10.0 foot flood stage Thursday morning – cresting at 10.7 feet late Thursday. Assuming no additional rain, the river would then begin a slow fall – sitting at or slight above flood Saturday Morning.
