A wave of low pressure riding north out of Oklahoma along a cold front will help bring winter-like weather back to Chicago.   Four different types of precipitation are expected to fall across the Chicago area tonight.

Snow is likely over many of the regions west, northwest and north suburbs while sleet, freezing rain and rain will be the predominant precipitation form over the city, near west suburbs, near north suburbs and southwest suburbs.  Further south and east toward Kankakee and northwest Indiana, mainly rain is expected.

Snowfall totals should range from 1 to 3 inches north and west to little or no accumulation south and southeast.   The precipitation is expected to begin between 7PM and 9PM, ending shortly after sunrise on Sunday
