Today will mark the 11th straight day with below average temperatures.  This is the longest below average streak of the year.  The 2nd longest was 8 days below average from October 5th through October 12th.  The last time we had a streak that long was in late September, early October last year.  After the first 8 months of this year registered above average temperatures overall, September, October and November (s0 far) have been below average.  The good news is that above average temps will return as we warm up this week.  We will see 50s for highs Thursday and Friday and 60s look likely this weekend.

The 6 to 10 day forecast from the Climate Prediction Center has outlooked us for above average temperatures for the middle part of the month.  The country is divided with nearly everyone east of the Mississippi expecting above average temperatures and everyone west outlooked for colder than average temperatures.
