Strongest winds expected between 11AM and 3PM

Strong southerly winds will develop over the entire Chicago area this Sunday morning as a Winter storm centered over South Dakota strengthens and moves east.  Wind gusts of 40 to 50mph are likely between 10AM and 5PM. 

Wind Advisory west of the city

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for some of Chicago's northwest, west and southwest suburbs.  Counties included in this advisory which runs from 10AM to 5PM are McHenry, Kane, Boone, DeKalb, Kendall, Grundy, Kenosha and Walworth.
