Thanks to frequent blog contributor Amanda Pickett of Winfield, Indiana for these two shots of the beach at the Indiana Dunes state Park. The winds were so strong this morning that Amanda had to go to the second floor of the beach house to avoid being sand-blasted.
Today's shot shows the water line about 100 feet closer than normal when compared to the shot taken earlier this month on a calm morning. Notice the volleyball net shown in both pictures.
