Andrew Paxton, a sophomore at Iowa State University sent us these images of the flooding rains in Iowa. Andrew tells us:
"As you probably know, central Iowa received very heavy rains over the last 3 days. Ames Iowa, is in flood, over half of the city is flooded by the overflowing of Squaw Creek. There are conflicting reports that the Squaw Creek crested at an all time high, breaking 1993's record. I have attached pictures of the flooding around the Iowa State campus."
